INTRODUCTION

Martin Stephen : A contemporary British artist, expressionist abstract modern. Inspired by the abstract expressionist movement from the 1940’s / 50’s. (In particular : Pollock, Joan Mitchell, Alan Davie, Gorky, Kandinsky, Basquiat, the European Cobra group. Solo and collaborative art exhibitions in London and Cambridgeshire, wincluding four years showing at ‘Pint of Science’ / Creative Reactions, Cambridge. 

Also works with music as an improvisational keyboard player. ​Music inspired from early 1970’s progressive (Including : Floyd, Faust, Can, Hammill, Wyatt, Magma, Hatfield’s, Focus, Brand X) to contemporary chill, dance floor, film and soundscape.
